The British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Level One with Pauline Coyle Extend and deepen your knowledge of yoga and yourself on this 60 hour course. This course will commence in November 2015 and comprises of ten full days of tuition over six months. There will be eight full days at a venue in Hull and a weekend retreat in North Yorkshire. The weekend away will give you a useful time away from the pressures of home, work and family in a beautiful setting, enabling you to consolidate and re-assess your yoga practice. The British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course encourages your development towards a more profound understanding of yoga. If you enjoy their weekly yoga class, but would like a more profound insight into the background of yoga including an exploration of pranayama, meditation, philosophy and an in-depth look at asana you will find it useful. The course offers the opportunity for self development and study. Some reasons for embarking on this course are; · To reinforce and strengthen your own practice. · You may be inspired to deepen study into philosophy, meditation or pranayama · It is a useful stepping stone on the way to becoming a Yoga teacher. Many Diploma course tutors consider a Foundation Course Certificate an essential requirement for prospective teachers. Advice will be given if you wish to progress to a BWY teacher training course.
