British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course
Extend and deepen your knowledge of yoga and yourself on this 60 hour course.
The course comprises of ten full days of tuition over nine months. There will also be a free introductory afternoon to enable you to meet the Tutor, Pauline Coyle, and other students.
The British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course encourages your development towards a more profound understanding of yoga. If you enjoy your weekly yoga class, but would like a more profound insight into the background of yoga including an exploration of pranayama, meditation, philosophy and an in-depth look at asana you will find it useful. The course offers the opportunity for self development and study.
Some reasons for embarking on this course are;
· To reinforce and strengthen your own practice.
· You will be encouraged to deepen your study of philosophy, meditation and pranayama
· It is a useful stepping stone on the way to becoming a Yoga teacher
. On completion of the course you will receive a Foundation Course Certificate full accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga.
The cost for this works out at around £50 a day (plus a BWY registration fee) it includes extensive hand outs, refreshments and expert teaching from an established BWY DCT.
Many BWY Diploma Course Tutors consider an FC Certificate an essential requirement for prospective teachers. Advice will be given if you wish to progress onto BWY teacher training.
